​   I am a U.S. Coast Guard Certified boat captain.  I was raised in South Florida and have been airboating and fishing on Lake Okeechobee and the Florida Everglades for most of my life.  I joined the United States Marine corp. in 1981 and married my wife Sherry that same year. While in the Marines, I shared many of my airboating and alligator adventures with my fellow Marines who quickly gave me the nick-name "MasterGator" which I proudly still carry today.

   After leaving the Marines, my wife and I came back home to south Florida for the airboating life and to raise our two sons who also have the same love and passion for lake Okeechobee and the Florida Everglades. Although our boys are now grown, it is a common sight to see us all out on the airboat together either bowfishing or frog gigging.
